Bring a sense of calm to your everyday style with this simple, handcrafted Howlite beads bracelet.

Inspired by the popular bead designs of the Art Deco era, this piece features Howlite beads accented by sterling silver beads and a handcrafted fine silver clay heart charm. Howlite is a unique semi-precious gemstone characterized by its milky-white appearance and distinctive dark grey or black veins. It is traditionally known for its calming properties that help soothe the body, mind, and spirit.

Caring for your jewellery

To look after your high purity silver clay jewellery (99.9%) it is best to keep your
pieces in air-tight bags with anti-tarnishing properties to prevent the
tarnishing of the silver.  Please avoid
bringing your precious jewellery pieces in contact with chemicals, such as
perfumes, hairspray or lotions.  Remove
your jewellery before bathing or physical work.
To clean your pieces, us a soft toothbrush and warm soapy water, this
applies to jewellery pieces with a gemstone too.  A specialized polishing cloth also helps torestore the shine of your silver jewellery.

Hand Made

I love working with Art Silver Clay as it allows for endless design possibilities. The Silver Clay is moulded, shaped, textured, dried and refined before being fired, either with a blow torch or in the kiln. Gemstones are set after the firing process and 24ct gold paint can also be applied. The result is a beautiful hand-made piece of jewellery of hallmark quality. Apart from making earrings and pendants, I also enjoy making bracelets using semi-precious and silver beads as well as adding Silver Clay charms.

About Silver Deco Designs

My designs are inspired by the Art Deco Era of the 20th century synonymous of bold geometric, symmetrical and clear balanced lines.  The geometric motifs are the cornerstone of this Era with circles, triangles, squares and sunbursts being the preferred geometric motifs.  Art Deco jewellery symbolised a time of optimism, social and cultural change.

Packaging

Great care is taken when we package your greatly valued order.  The white Eco-friendly branded jewellery boxes, with a grey foam cushion, displays the jewellery elegantly and securely.  The box is then placed in a sturdy postal box; any extra space is filled with a wood dried shredded Eco-friendly package filler.  You will also find a useful silver polishing cloth in your package to keep your pieces
shining.
With sustainability and design at the core of the business, Silver Deco Designs carries these values in working with Silver Metal Clay, as well as in its packaging.  We strive for 100% recycled content.
